Who We Are
Our mission
Our mission is to inspire people to read books by Christian authors whose works convey love and messages that elevate spiritual values.

There are books that remain in our hearts, others that, instead, are tied to unpleasant memories. Books are part of our lives and, often, they even change them.
Why do we love reading so much? Because a book can take us on a journey through time or through our imagination, because it allows us to learn and discover new things every time, because reading helps us relax and take some time for ourselves. Reading is good for us. And that's not all. Books change our lives.
• Reading makes us feel that we belong to the world: the spirit of the times. Reading reminds us that we are not alone; our struggles and dreams are shared.
Give a book a chance and it will teach you something. You have to give it a chance, and to give a chance you have to be humble.
• Reading is a challenge. Reading helps you stay calm. Once you begin to delve into a book that has captured your attention, time ceases to exist; your mind is completely immersed in those pages.
• Reading is a pleasure. Life is too short to read books that don't make us happy. Always read enriching books, and your life will change thanks to books.
The ADV publishing house, founded in 1926 and headquartered in the Florence area since its inception, is a publishing house belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church.
In addition to a production born from the objectives and principles of the religious reality from which it was born, ADV publishes books with medical/health, social, children's and fiction connotations.
The catalog, as you can see, offers quality and transversal material, for different age groups but also for diversified cultural needs.
The goal of the ADV publishing house is to offer society books and magazines that promote a new lifestyle that involves the four dimensions of health: physical, mental, spiritual, and social.
The monthly magazine Vita & Salute, published since 1952, has always aimed to improve the quality of life of its readers through awareness of lifestyle-related health factors: natural nutrition, the environment, natural and traditional medical treatments, and social relationships. Along with this magazine, which has enabled countless contacts with those interested in health and spirituality, books are published whose aim remains to suggest a lifestyle that allows us to maintain our bodies in optimal physical and intellectual condition.
Particular attention has been paid to childhood and adolescence, with the provision of religious education manuals and guides for parents to help their children along the delicate path of growth.
Among the recently published books, we are pleased to point out Letters Without Borders , which collects the moving and passionate testimonies of 6 mothers who have lost their children.
Despite distribution difficulties and limited resources due to the size of our publishing house, the book received national coverage in the major media, proving to be a courageous but also rewarding editorial choice.
Strengthened by that experience, we will continue on this path, which aims to give voice to stories and people who have something profound and important to share, for the common good.
Browse our catalog, and you're sure to find titles and diverse topics to satisfy your curiosity for knowledge and growth.
