RETURN TO SMALL WORLD

"And I'm back to square one: I'm back in Piccolo Mondo and here I still feel like I'm at the center of the universe." Thus the protagonist begins the narration, alluding to the fact that the story described in this book is connected to that of my first novel: Piccolo Mondo - a story of the mafia from other times - Rosarno, Calabria (Larutfa Editore). Although having read the first book is still advantageous, Return to Piccolo Mondo - The Li' Vicenzu Code can also be read independently without compromising its understanding. The protagonist of Return to Piccolo Mondo comes into possession of a sort of Code, which he searches for the solution to discover his uncle's murderer and avenge him. In this investigation, he comes into contact with a community near Piccolo Mondo. Here, due to the need to gradually discover new elements of the Code, he is "forced" to frequent the environment and characters of a simple and clean world. Everything intersects with the common thread of the story and the rediscovery of ancient values: justice, love, forgiveness. Indeed, these values, at the beginning secondary to the story, they will then become prominent elements for a more positive epilogue to the story.

Rodolfo Ferraro

He was born in Calabria in 1942 and moved to Piedmont in 1955. He earned a degree in Theology from the Adventist Faculty of Theology in Collonges-sous-Salève, France. He has created both print and multimedia teaching materials. He has worked in various penitentiaries, including Alessandria, Sanremo, and Genoa. As a lecturer, he has practiced in Romania and numerous Italian cities, including Palermo, Catania, Messina, Reggio Calabria, Asti, Alessandria, Genoa, and Milan. He co-published a book with Rolando Rizzo (Germoglio) with Edizioni AdV, and has contributed articles and contributions to several other publications, both single-subject and encyclopedic. He published his first work of fiction (Piccolo Mondo - una storia di mafia d'altri tempi - Rosarno, Calabria) with Laruffa.
