The novel The Third Train. From Colognati, from Villa Aurora, begins where The Traveller ended, which in turn begins where The Mill on the Colognati ended .

The trilogy is therefore a single story that, from a life experience, constitutes a triple fresco inspired by the world of childhood (the first), youth (the second), and adulthood (the third). The three novels were, however, constructed to be read independently of each other.
